Making our blog invite only!

With all the horror stories that I keep hearing about all the weirdos out there ( yes that mostly come from my dear husband)I am thinking about making our blog private and starting a new one minus all the pesonal info( names, places, ect...) If you are interested in an invite to this blog please send your email to me @ kraus5212@hotmail.com. Once this blog is private I will put a link to our new blog which will remain public since I want everyone we care about to be able to keep up with our hectic life!

It's Spring ..... well kinda!

Wow! It's hard to believe that I haven't posted since before Christmas. Life is flying by at an alarming pace. No matter how much we want our kids to stay little it just doesn't happen. Reagan is almost 8 months old going on 18 months. She is walking now, and has 2 teeth. She wants nothing more than to be involved in everything everyone does. I can't do anything without her literally biting my ankles. Therefore my house is quite a mess.

We finally got family pictures done so we could have one with Reagan in it. I thought they turned out pretty good :)

Reagan is such a silly girl. She would give a cheesy smile everytime the camera was within sight.

Oh & Baseball season in here!!!!!!

Bring it on!

Kale is in full uniform this year. So Cute!

Christmas Trees!

Just before Thanksgiving We went on the hunt for the Great Christmas Tree. It was snowing huge beautiful snowflakes! It was so pretty, the only downside to it was that we were soaked. & I mean soaked all the way through. Through the coats, gloves, and snowpants!!! but man it was fun :) We hiked and hiked and hiked to find the perfect tree. after about an hour ( which was not easy seeing how it was only 1 week after surgery) we found our tree! Which after we got it home I decided it was probably the most like Charlie Browns we could have found. But now that its up I have grown quite fond of it. Now to get the gifts to go under it ..... Bring it on!

So gorgeous up in the snow covered mountians.

Quinton......

We thought that Reagan would end up sitting in the truck most of the day but she and Grandma found a cozy little spot under a tree by the fire.

3months old!

Wow, I can't believe that my baby girl is 3 months old already. Where did the time go? Reagan has been such a blessing in our lives and I can't remember what life was like without her. 5 years ago when we decided that there was another sweet little child that was meant to be part of our family I never imagined the journey we would have to endure. We went through happiniess, excitement, and nervousness but we also went through pain, sorrow, extreme heartbreak and ALOT of cash. But now that we have our precious baby here it was all worth it. Never thought I'd actually be able to say that but reagan has managed to heal the heart. She makes our family better. Kale & Logan are completely in love with her! It is such a joy to watch all of our children together. Knowing that Reagan is our last baby we are all a little more determined to enjoy every little thing about this stage, the smiles and coos and even the crying and spit up!

Out little supergirl!

Reagan loving her cereal. though I think there was more on her face than she got in her mouth.

All bundled up to get Christmas trees.

She has this thing with faces! She can always make up laugh. She even has some of the most pathetic cries that I cant help but laugh at her, then of course the gives me a look like she can't believe I just laughed at her!

A clean house?

This morning I sent the boys to school and Quinton is sleeping so its just me and Reagan so of course Im thinking its the perfect opportunity to push myself to get some cleaning done. The cleaning that I havent gotten done in the 10 weeks since having Reagan and those of you know me well know that Im a little(ok a lot) OCD about my house. Its driving me crazy! Unfortunately between my poor achy body and my little princess who wants constant attention I havent gotten hardly a thing done. I was getting a little discouraged about it too untill I saw this on a friends blog ( Thanks zoey!) :

"Mother, oh Mother, come shake out your cloth,Empty the dustpan, poison the moth, Hang out the washing and butter the bread, Sew on a button and make up a bed.
Where is the mother whose house is so shocking? She's up in the nursery, blissfully rocking.
Oh, I've grown shiftless as Little Boy BlueLullaby, rockaby, lullaby loo.Dishes are waiting and bills are past due, Pat-a-cake, darling, and peek, peekaboo.
The shopping's not done and there's nothing for stew And out in the yard there's a hullabaloo But I'm playing Kanga and this is my Roo.Look! Aren't her eyes the most wonderful hue?Lullaby, rockaby, lullaby loo.
The cleaning and scrubbing will wait till tomorrow,For children grow up, as I've learned to my sorrow. So quiet down, cobwebs. Dust go to sleep.I'm rocking my baby and babies don't keep."
-Ruth Hamilton.

It was a nice reminder of what is the most important! Therefore I will warn those who may stop by my house....... It will be a mess. Im too busy playing with my babies!!!

Update & Reagans 2 week pics!

Well I'm behind on my blog again! Things have been really crazy lately. Reagan is 4 1/2 weeks old now. Im not sure where time went! She is doing great and most of the time she is a very good calm baby. Last night she even slept for 6 hours straight!!! The boys are doing good, just enjoying school and making sure their sister doesn't cry without everyone knowing that she needs you. They are greaat big brothers! Quinton is good but exhausted. He will probably be glad when he is done playing mr. mom! He has been an absolute life saver these past weeks.
For those who don't know I have had about every postpartum complication that I can think of! I just had my 2nd D&C on thursday to correct a problem that the Dr has no clue what is or how to fix. So hopefully it will work and we will be on the road to recovery finally!!! I feel like I have missed out on the past month & I am ready to just enjoy my boys and be able to take care of my baby! On a bright note we got our baby girls pictures!! Aren't they cute?!

Good Luck Jordan!!!

A couple of weeks ago we had the hard task of sending my brother off on a year deployment. I'm surprised at how hard it was. You would think that getting rid of your obnoxious, loud mouthed brother for a year would be a good thing! Well instead we miss him already. I can't help but thinking that for my kids a year is a long time. My baby girl will be a year old when he comes home & have no clue who he is! I know that he is serving his country but its still a little scary knowing he will be right in the middle of all the horror of war. As we stood watching all the men and women get into formation and start boarding the plane, listening to all the sniffing and tears of the wifes and the children crying for their daddies I realized that I wouldn't be strong enough to send my husband . I admire all those strong enough to do so. Thank you to all that serve our great country!
