Christmas Trees!

Just before Thanksgiving We went on the hunt for the Great Christmas Tree. It was snowing huge beautiful snowflakes! It was so pretty, the only downside to it was that we were soaked. & I mean soaked all the way through. Through the coats, gloves, and snowpants!!! but man it was fun :) We hiked and hiked and hiked to find the perfect tree. after about an hour ( which was not easy seeing how it was only 1 week after surgery) we found our tree! Which after we got it home I decided it was probably the most like Charlie Browns we could have found. But now that its up I have grown quite fond of it. Now to get the gifts to go under it ..... Bring it on!

So gorgeous up in the snow covered mountians.

Quinton......

We thought that Reagan would end up sitting in the truck most of the day but she and Grandma found a cozy little spot under a tree by the fire.

Logan............

3months old!

Wow, I can't believe that my baby girl is 3 months old already. Where did the time go? Reagan has been such a blessing in our lives and I can't remember what life was like without her. 5 years ago when we decided that there was another sweet little child that was meant to be part of our family I never imagined the journey we would have to endure. We went through happiniess, excitement, and nervousness but we also went through pain, sorrow, extreme heartbreak and ALOT of cash. But now that we have our precious baby here it was all worth it. Never thought I'd actually be able to say that but reagan has managed to heal the heart. She makes our family better. Kale & Logan are completely in love with her! It is such a joy to watch all of our children together. Knowing that Reagan is our last baby we are all a little more determined to enjoy every little thing about this stage, the smiles and coos and even the crying and spit up!

Out little supergirl!

Reagan loving her cereal. though I think there was more on her face than she got in her mouth.

All bundled up to get Christmas trees.

She has this thing with faces! She can always make up laugh. She even has some of the most pathetic cries that I cant help but laugh at her, then of course the gives me a look like she can't believe I just laughed at her!

A clean house?

This morning I sent the boys to school and Quinton is sleeping so its just me and Reagan so of course Im thinking its the perfect opportunity to push myself to get some cleaning done. The cleaning that I havent gotten done in the 10 weeks since having Reagan and those of you know me well know that Im a little(ok a lot) OCD about my house. Its driving me crazy! Unfortunately between my poor achy body and my little princess who wants constant attention I havent gotten hardly a thing done. I was getting a little discouraged about it too untill I saw this on a friends blog ( Thanks zoey!) :

"Mother, oh Mother, come shake out your cloth,Empty the dustpan, poison the moth, Hang out the washing and butter the bread, Sew on a button and make up a bed.
Where is the mother whose house is so shocking? She's up in the nursery, blissfully rocking.
Oh, I've grown shiftless as Little Boy BlueLullaby, rockaby, lullaby loo.Dishes are waiting and bills are past due, Pat-a-cake, darling, and peek, peekaboo.
The shopping's not done and there's nothing for stew And out in the yard there's a hullabaloo But I'm playing Kanga and this is my Roo.Look! Aren't her eyes the most wonderful hue?Lullaby, rockaby, lullaby loo.
The cleaning and scrubbing will wait till tomorrow,For children grow up, as I've learned to my sorrow. So quiet down, cobwebs. Dust go to sleep.I'm rocking my baby and babies don't keep."
-Ruth Hamilton.

It was a nice reminder of what is the most important! Therefore I will warn those who may stop by my house....... It will be a mess. Im too busy playing with my babies!!!

Update & Reagans 2 week pics!

Well I'm behind on my blog again! Things have been really crazy lately. Reagan is 4 1/2 weeks old now. Im not sure where time went! She is doing great and most of the time she is a very good calm baby. Last night she even slept for 6 hours straight!!! The boys are doing good, just enjoying school and making sure their sister doesn't cry without everyone knowing that she needs you. They are greaat big brothers! Quinton is good but exhausted. He will probably be glad when he is done playing mr. mom! He has been an absolute life saver these past weeks.
For those who don't know I have had about every postpartum complication that I can think of! I just had my 2nd D&C on thursday to correct a problem that the Dr has no clue what is or how to fix. So hopefully it will work and we will be on the road to recovery finally!!! I feel like I have missed out on the past month & I am ready to just enjoy my boys and be able to take care of my baby! On a bright note we got our baby girls pictures!! Aren't they cute?!

Good Luck Jordan!!!

A couple of weeks ago we had the hard task of sending my brother off on a year deployment. I'm surprised at how hard it was. You would think that getting rid of your obnoxious, loud mouthed brother for a year would be a good thing! Well instead we miss him already. I can't help but thinking that for my kids a year is a long time. My baby girl will be a year old when he comes home & have no clue who he is! I know that he is serving his country but its still a little scary knowing he will be right in the middle of all the horror of war. As we stood watching all the men and women get into formation and start boarding the plane, listening to all the sniffing and tears of the wifes and the children crying for their daddies I realized that I wouldn't be strong enough to send my husband . I admire all those strong enough to do so. Thank you to all that serve our great country!

Oh how time flies!

I cant believe that my baby is 1 week old already! It has gone by so fast. It's so bittersweet. Soon she will be smiling and cooing. So much fun but at the same time I want her to stay my baby! Kale and Logan are being such big brothers! Kale wants to do nothing but hold her all day. And logan has given up his position of baby of the family really well. hes still not sure what to think of Reagan yet but he is very good about helping take care of her. i don't think she lets out more than a sqeak before he lets me know that she needs me. Overall we are starting to adjust to our new life with a bigger family . And I can't imagine life without all three of my wonderful kids!

YAY!!

ONLY 6 MORE DAYS!!!

Tuesday, August 24, 2010

countdown!!!

If all goes as planned we only have 8-9 days before we get to meet our baby girl! The Doctor is planning to induce on Sept 1 or 2. Though I wouldn't be dissapointed if at my appointment Thursday he decides to do it earlier....wishful thinking I know! I have officially hit that last stretch of miserable that is the joy of pregnancy. I can't eat, sleep, or hardly walk anymore. & I am one of the lucky ones that have Braxton Hicks the whole time, which have finally gotten very painful. And that nesting urge that has been driving me crazy? well I hit that point that I don't care I would rather sit on the couch and avoid any unecissary contractions. The baby won't care what my house looks like right? The upside to all the pain and suffering is knowing that the worse I feel the nearer the end is. And the start of a whole different set of sleepless nights & crying (the baby this time not me!) will begin. .....I LOVE BEING A MOM!

Extreme Makeover Softball game!

Extreme Home Makeover is in Pocatello! Its been such a neat thing to have them here & see a community come together to help. With all the craziness and excitement they have had the Pocatello Police on scene round the clock to help with security. Well the makeover crew decided that they wanted to play the Department in a softball game. So tonight Quinton got the opportunity to play against them. It was really neat to watch. They had such a blast! And we all had a fun time playing a little " name that crew member". I unfortunately only knew a few of them. Of course there was Pauly, and Ed and Jillian from the Bachelorette!

Wow. I realized today just how far behind I am on my blog.............way behind! We have been going and going just like the enegizer bunny, well minus the energy! As to be expected I am exausted. But on the brightside we only have 6 more weeks before our little girl is here. YAY! I think I am the only one who thinks time is dragging. I have been trying to keep the boys busy for the summer which should be coming to an end but thanks to the school district they have an extra 2-3 weeks to play. Good for them but I think It may not be so good on moms sanity. Last weekend we took the boys to Lava to fish. They ended up catching a bunch of small Rainbow Trout which to them were "huge". Pretty sad that we haven't had them out fishing enough lately and they considered these fish huge. I think that means we need to get them out more.

The boys and their catch!

Kale getting a bit tired of waiting for a bite. For being only 8 I think he was pretty patient!

It's a..............

Girl!!!! We were thrilled to find out that we are having a girl! I wasn't expecting it...hoping but not expecting...and to this day it still doesn't seem like we are really getting our baby girl. I guess that I'm so used to boys that I can't imagine anything else. The main problem now is waiting untill September to get to meet her!!!

Also A few weeks ago Kale fell off the swingset (I tend to think he was jumping from the swing)
and broke his arm. He is such a dramatic child that I thought he was totally just being a wimp and made him wait about 4 or so hours before I finally took him to the Doctor to prove to him that nothing was wrong.....oops! I got a nice big peice of humble pie! Glad to say that only had to have the cast for 3 weeks and he got it off today! Thank goodness......It was really starting to smell!!!!

Spring break Continued.....!!!!

I have been trying to upload more pictures for days and for some reason it isn't working!!!! It is making me soooooo frustrated! So as soon as it cooperates I will put up the pics Of the Dinosaur Museum and the Planetarium.

Spring Break!!!!

I have been awful when it comes to keeping up with anything lately! Unless you count sleep and movies :)
In March we went to Utah for an early spring break. We were all in need of a weekend off. Though we wish it could have been longer. We booked our hotel at THanksgiving Point and off we went. We stopped at the Living Planet Aquarium. The boys loved it! Next to the pool at the hotel it was their favorite part of our trip. Then we stopped by Cabelas. i don't think its actually possible to go to Utah and not stop there.

Logan.....

My handsome boys......

We all really enjoyed the upsidedown jelly fish........

It's been a long road.....

After almost 4 years of heartbreak and HUGE medical bills , We are overjoyed to

announce that we are expecting a little miracle due on September 11th!!! We have

been a little hesitant to spread the new just in case things didn't work out, but due

to the warmer weather it's getting extremely hard to hide the evidence! Thats right

not quite 16 weeks and I have quite the "baby bump" going on.

This is the last ultrasound that we had done at 10 weeks!
